I came to DA a long, long time ago. Back before it was like Myspace for doodlers. Back when Jark and Matteo (you know, the real founders of the site) commented on every deviation because it was still possible then.
At any rate, here we are, years later, and I still pop in every so often. I write better now than I did then, but I still love to traipse through poetry and stumble through prose. Only now I am someone who takes a camera with her everywhere, and I'm trying to learn the art of photography. It is slow and painful, but I'm having fun learning.

I live just north of Seattle, in a suburb of sorts named Everett. I am a field technician on large commercial aircraft, and I'm one of those super-lucky people who gets paid a lot of money doing exactly what she loves.
I also have an internet talk radio show on BlogTalkRadio called The Front Line, where I interview newsmakers and talk politics and military stuff, another of my passions.
I have a soldier who I love dearly, a ginger-haired son with freckles who I love more, and an apartment by the sea that I love just as much.
