I love haiku because it's open to so many interpretations, and can say so much in so little. Rather than explain what the poem is about, I'll let you figure it out. =) (Smile)

Great lines; well presented as a haiku. I see how thankless a soldier's duty can be. Not only do they have to face against the enemy, but also criticism from the very people they have sworn to defend. It definitely makes you think.

Well worded. It often is a difficult task to have haiku pack a punch like this does. There is only so much room to bring a point across, but you did this just fine! :) (Smile)
